i pumped pink milk today...

This morning when DS was nursing, he sneezed and bit me hard, but we were in such a hurry it was quickly forgotten. Then when i was pumping at lunch, I looked down and blood was mixing with the milk and turning it pink- i definately did a doubletake!! I looked and there were too little teethmarks that were bleeding.

I'm mainly sad b/c i had to throw out that milk, I don't see daycare giving it to him!

    can you use it at home later in the day ~ you don't have to dump it if its only a tad pink.

    he really only takes bottles at daycare, so we'll just toss it. Fortunately i'm coming into the home stretch with a lot of freezer stash. It still pains me to pour bm down the sink. I had to pour out 11 oz that he ended up not taking at daycare last week!

    pouring your milk down the drain is tough - I always hate doing it.  How are those poor teeth marks healing??  DS has 5th and 6th teeth coming in and BFing is really getting painful.
