NBR: dumb laundry question

So, my DH is a farmer and doesn't dress up often. I also hate ironing. So, in the rare event of him wearing his one and only dress shirt & pants, I would always take them to the dry cleaner to avoid having to iron and I knew they always looked nice.

Here's the thing - we are trying to save money, and I don't have the time to take it to the dry cleaners. We have family pics on Thursday morning.

When washing, what setting should I put them on to help avoid wrinkles? and any other tips other than removing it from the dryer promptly?? I feel dumb that I don't know what to do. I hate ironing, and I feel like I don't do a good job. I just seem to press the wrinkles in :-

HELP! TIA

  • I don't iron. I'm a little scared of it, to be honest. Smile

I usually dry shirts until they are just a little damp, and then hang them up carefully to dry to the end. I've been able to avoid ironing this way. And we haven't used the dry cleaners in about a year. HTH!
