I guess this looks like the 3rd cycle in a row that I'm having a long cycle. (41dc, 40dc, and currently on cd20-something)....Still no + opt, so unless I've just missed my surge (I don't temp), it looks like I may be joining u ladies w/long cycles. I'm hoping that since I just noticed my name on the turkey butt (I didn't know it was on there--somehow I missed that until 2day).....that I may get lucky---but, I fear that the longer I go, the less of a shot I have at having a good eggie...
I haven't had any testing done. I should be seeing my ob/gyn in the next month or so (pending insurance crap w/my dh switching jobs and then being rehired by his former employer).....Since I had PERFECT cycles until my d&c in Feb, I'm hoping she'll run some tests for me. Time will tell I guess.
I'm hoping my trend in long cycles will end this cycle... I went from 35days, then 40days last cycle. I'd like this cyle to be not so long, okay?
QOTD: Not yet. Not every cycle has been so long, they've ranged from 27 days to 52 since my first m/c (not including m/c cycles). There's never been a rhyme or reason, but hopefully now that I'm charting, I'll have better information so if I continue with the long cycles, I can discuss with my MFM.

My appt. with my new ob/gyn is Thursday. I'm really hoping she can give me some insight as to what's going on. I've always had the long cycles but it never mattered to me before b/c we weren't trying to get pregnant. Now its a whole 'nother ball game. I'm CD36 and still no sign of ovulation. Le sigh.

I've had a lot of longer cycles (31-35 days) my whole life, and I'll sporadically have some really long ones thrown in there. But I don't usually have two really long ones in a row. Well, my body might change that now since I had a 53-dayer last cycle, and this cycle I'm on CD18 and still no positive OPK. *sigh*
QOTD: I've never had it looked it. If this keeps up I'll let my RE know, though, and get some testing.
Clomid made me ovulate on CD16 this cycle, so this will be the first cycle resembling my pre-m/c cycles since my original BFP cycle!
QOTD: Yes, I had bloodwork done including thyroid function, prolactin, and reproductive hormone levels (all normal) and an ultrasound (no cysts, lining appropriate for time in cycle). So my long cycles were chalked up to post-m/c wackiness with hopefully no underlying diagnosis. Fun fact: medically, long cycles aren't a problem as long as you're having four periods a year. It's just when you're trying to get pg that they're a problem.
