Best toys for 9-12 month olds- help!

Hi Ladies- I could really use your help. DD's grandparents are asking me what they should get her for Christmas, at which point she'll be 9 months old, but I have no clue what toys she'll want in the coming months! Any suggestions??

    Anything the is cause and effect. Like things that you put stuff into and take out over and over. The Fisher Price Laugh n Learn line is fab for the 6-36m age group. Look at Step2 stuff and Leap Frog stuff. I got Julia Violet the puppy.

    A push toy is good at that age too. We have the Fisher Price Singing Band Piano and the Ride and Go Hippo, dd loves both of them.  She also loves the Laugh and Learn House.
