XP: Excellent Idea for Soothie Paci Clip

Sooo I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but my DD loves Soothies. Now that she spits them out and they bounce all over I considered getting a soothie paci clip but the flower one they have is HUGE and would cover even more of her face.

I even thought of switching to the gumdrop paci's so that I could attach the paci's to her easier but I'm not ready to replace all of the paci's we have and they aren't available in stores which I find inconvenient. So I decided to use google images and search for Soothie paci clips and they all seem to be clipped through one of the little breath holes and I didn't really care for that.

I stumbled across this blog where a lady hand crochet a beautiful (but very expensive) paci holder. She mentioned that she hole punched a hole in the little ledge on the outside of the soothie to attach it. BRILLIANT!!

It's a little difficult to get the little ledge into my hole puncher and I needed to use my craft one from Micheals b/c the opening is a little larger but now I can go buy any paci attacher that loops through..just wanted to share...Yippie!!

HOLY CRAP. $48 for a paci holder! CHILL! Yes, it's beautiful, but so not worth it. I do like the hole punching idea though.

I know $48 is nuts, it's the idea I love and if someone bought it for me I wouldn't complain...LOL

Holy friggin' cow. $48!! No way.

And I don't know if punching a hole is a good idea. Seems like it could cause the silicon to break apart and be a choking hazard. I might be overthinking it. DD refuses a pacifier, so I've never thought about ways to attach it to her.
