Anyone else totally addicted to this message board?

Ever since I got my BFP, I am totally addicted to this message board, somewhat like my obsession with FB. I guess, its because we haven't told anyone yet, and  I'm afraid of my DH getting sick of me talking about pregnancy/baby so much.

    I'm with you!! We told my Mom today so now I can talk to her about it but I think DH was getting tired of baby everything!  I'm so so so glad I found this site, I feel much more as ease asking you guys questions...google scares me when I look up stuff!

    Its nice being able to talk about it or to get reassurance one here since we arent telling the family until Thanksgiving.

     

    Also, Legally Nads we have the same due date! I like your ticker- its helpful to me!

    I am the same way! It's hard when you don't have very many people in real life that know yet. It's the hardest secret ever to keep! I am failing miserably. lol

    I totally agree!  I am trying to stay as informed as possible.  I think DH is tired of all the baby talk....it's been 3 days. Embarrassed

    I have been addicted to the nest since we bought our house and the novelty of that is wearing off and here comes baby and I have a new obsession! :)

    Yes....  DH always finds me in the office on here!  Last night he was like "I think you love the bump more than you love me"  LOL!

    I'm on the phone with my mother now.  She knows how much I can't stand my job & was just telling me "You know, I don't know if you're "trying" & not having success, but maybe the stress of your job has something to do with it & maybe you should quit."  Tee hee.  We're going to tell them about the LO around Thanksgiving.

    Yes, it has been wonderful to share this obsession with all of you!  Happy bumping!  :)

    Yes I'm obsessed.... I check it a few times a day.... basically I have no one here to talk to that is pregnant or has kids. Alot of my friends are single gals....

    Reading everyone else's experiences makes me feel better about what's happening to me. I'm similar to everyone else so I know I should be right on track. I'm still freaked out about m/c but reading those stories is a bit comforting too. I think it's the anonymity combined with the real life experiences that's so great. Having never done this before, I just want info and guess what...ALL the baby books are the same. The only unique info is on these boards.

    I am on ALL DAY at work.  It's an easy way for me to keep up on the board and it's a great distraction from my job.  I have to admit, I'm not so good on the weekends though.  I tend to sit down once and try to catch up.  It's a lot of catching up too over a mere 2 days!

    My DH loved this site when I was pregnant with DD; he said it kept him from having to talk too much baby talk.  :)  Now he makes fun of me and calls it "my website."  I'm not on it as much as I used to be; its blocked at work now and DD makes things a little more hectic at home.

    Glad to know I'm not the only "crazy" obsessed one!  I definitely think, for me at least, it has a lot to do with nobody else knowing yet.  Also, I'm like a sponge for information and LOVE all the great advice that you ladies have.  I'm the 1st of our close friends to be pregnant and my mom won't know for a couple days, so I'm on here all the time!
