1. My cycles are text book, 28 days long and ovulate either the 14th or 15th day. ( I charted so I know)
2. First month trying, lucky us!
3. We told our immediate family only the day after we found out (4 weeks) and are not telling everyone else until after our appt on Tues when we hear the heartbeat. It will be a free for all at that point.
1. I had regular cycles but wasn't trying to conceive. The month we thought we were in the clear (of getting pregnant), I ovulated late and here we are with our little surprise due in May 2010.
2. Just took one time.
3. I told close family and friends at 7 weeks and we just told the rest of the world at 10 weeks.

3. Told parents immediately. Telling most family at Thanksgiving because we will see them then. Everyone else around 11 weeks once we've *hopefully* had our 2nd appointment and seen a healthy baby/hb!

I've always been insanely regular.
I was not TTC.
We got a BFP the one time we didn't use a condom (poster children for the "one time is all it takes" campaign, lol).
We got our BFP one month to the day after our wedding, at 4 weeks pg.
We told family at 7 weeks, then slowly started telling people around 9 weeks. It was fairly common knowledge by 12 weeks.
1. I thought I was regular until the last cycle before BFP. I was a week late and had nooo idea when I would be ovulating, etc!
2. It took us 4 cycles... we didn't even really try in the last cycle because I was out of wack and DH was out of town almost the entire time
3. Our 12 weeks falls exactly on Christmas Day so we're telling the family that day... I'm having a really hard time telling my mom, but she lives 10 hrs away and I want to be there to see her reaction, so we'll wait until then!!
1. I've never charted or anything, so I don't know how to answer this one. I've never missed a period, but my cycles are anywhere from 30 - 40 days. Does that make me regular or irregular?
2. We actually weren't TTC. This was the ONE time we did it without a condom. We had been debating how long we should wait before trying for baby #2. We really want our little ones close in age, but were hoping to move cross country next summer. We were worried about a new little one coming at the same time we are moving, starting new jobs, etc. Well, our absent-mindedness decided for us. The move might have to wait, but we couldn't be happier about baby #2!
3. We told our parents pretty much right away. With baby #1 we told everyone at week 8 after our first ultrasound. Because everyone knew, the pregnancy felt like it lasted FOREVER! This time we are planning to tell everyone at Thanksgiving. We'll be at week 14, which really isn't that much later, but I am showing much earlier and don't think I will be able to hide it past then. If I could wait until Christmas (week 18-19) I would.

1. Did you have "regular" cycles or "irregular" cycles when trying TTC? Have no clue. I have been on BC forever and to be specific Seasonique so only had my 'friend' 4 times a year.

3. Have you or when do you plan to tell your family and friends your pregnant? I have told my parents and a couple of friends. We are planning on telling everyone else at Thanksgiving where I will be 11W.
1. only regular because i was on the pill.... which i was put on because my cycles were so wonky when i was 15.
2. right after i got off the pill. not even a month passed. i had no idea it would be so fast.
3. i told everyone. i have a huge mouth and can't keep anything quiet!
They were very regular. I usually ovulated anywhere from CD16-CD18. With a 15 day luteal phase. My cycle lengths were typically 31-33 days in length. Not too shabby.

We tried for six months before getting our BFP. I was trying not to start worrying a little when we got our BFP.

I've told three of my sisters/SIL, one brother and one of my best friends. Abe has told his brother and BIL. We're waiting a couple weeks to tell the rest of our families.

2. We started trying in October (didn't use any ovulation predictors though) and we found our we were pregnant November 1st! I was shocked it happened so fast.

1. Did you have "regular" cycles or "irregular" cycles when trying TTC? Before I went on BCP, I had 28-30 day cycles. After BFP, I had 38-40 day cycles.
2. How long did it take you to get a BFP? We were trying for about 3 months. DH was traveling abroad until 10/11, so I thought we were out this month. But lo and behold, I had EWCM on the 10th, and here we are! I tested positive on the 30th, but didn't know that it was positive until the 31st. We were visiting his parents as they were getting ready to move and I brought one test but not the instructions! I couldn't find conclusive results from web searching on my iphone (no internet in the house because they were moving) so we had to run to CVS quickly on the 31st so we could confirm our BFP!!!
3. Have you or when do you plan to tell your family and friends your pregnant? We will be telling immediate family and close friends over thanksgiving. We will be right around 8 weeks, and we have our first midwife appointment the monday of thanksgiving week. We will tell everyone else around Christmas, because I will be right around 12 weeks. I am hoping to tell my coworkers around the middle of January.

Very irregular! Ranged from 30-65 days.

3. Have you or when do you plan to tell your family and friends your pregnant? We called our family and friends that we are telling now. Everyone is far away.
I ended up telling the other teachers on my team this past week. They were all very suspicious. I make cupcakes with pink and blue frosting and told them that the frosting was pink and blue for a reason.

1. Pretty regular, after I went of BCP my cycles stayed at 28 days. It was only after charting that I realized I O'd around CD 17 or 18.
2. The first one was an 'accident', I was so sick with a horrible virus I don't even remember when we had sex that month. We had to take two months off and on our first cycle back trying we got a BFP!
3. I told my mom on her birthday with a Happy Birthday Grandma card. I called my siblings and told them. We haven't told DH's family yet, but we will at Thanksgiving. It's my parents' first grandbaby, but it's #11 for the in-laws.
1 - Pretty regular, 1-2 days difference.
2 - One cycle of TTC (had been of BCP were and TTA for 3 months prior)
3 - Told mom after the confirmation appointment (4 weeks), IL's and dad after the 1st u/s (8 weeks), and the rest of the world after our first doppler appointment in the 2nd tri (13 weeks).

1. Did you have "regular" cycles or "irregular" cycles when trying TTC? Not regular, but not too wacky. They lasted btween 29 and 40 days and I usually ovulated between CD15 and CD 25.

3. Have you or when do you plan to tell your family and friends your pregnant? 12w2d ... CHRISTMAS!1. I had regular cycles til our first month of TTC, then as soon as I started charting, it turned from a 28-day cycle to 35+ days.
2. We got our BFP in our 2nd month of TTC.
3. We're gonna tell our extended family on Thanksgiving (I'll be 12 weeks then), then we'll go "public" the following week.

2. Honeymoon baby... we got pregnant the first month we "tried". We didn't actually try, but it was the first month we didn't use birth control everytime. I never thought it'd happen that easy, I hear getting pregnant is hard to do because so many things have to happen to make it a successful conception. Like.. the stars have to align.
3. I'm not sure when we are going to tell them. I want to tell them Thanksgiving because everyone will be together... but I'd like to have u/s pictures and I wont get those until Nov. 30th.

3. I told my immediate family and pregnant friends right away. I told everyone else after our first u/s. It was too hard for me to keep it a secret! Especially since most of the people we are close to knew we were trying.

No time at all, again it was a total shock.

We told everyone about two weeks ago after we had our 2nd ultrasound.

2. DH and I never "try" we can wash our clothes together and get KU!

1. Cycles were pretty regular, and only varied by a 2-4 days.
2. It technically took us 4 cycles, but I had a bad allergic reaction to a medication one month and we knew that one was off, so we say 3 that we were really able to try.
3. We haven't told anyone yet. We have an appointment on Thursday and are planning to tell my parents on Friday and then tell DH's side on Thanksgiving or close to it.
