super random: anyone have workmans comp case b4?

i am about to settle tomorrow, and so nervous. i really don't want them to give me a low-ball number. i am still in pain from a car accident 1.5 years ago. one doc gave me a 0% permanency disability, which was the doc on the lawyers side of the guy that hit me (so insulting! I had 10 months of chiropractic and physical therapy and *still* am in pain!) i don't have a disk injury in my back and neck, just severe whiplash and tissue damage. soooo yeah. i just wanted to vent and see if anyone has dealt with this before. my lawyer seems like he wants me to take whatever they offer and move on, but i am not happy with that attitude. grr!

    forgot to mention, the doc on *my* side gave me a permanency disability rating of 25%. my lawyer says they might "meet in the middle and try to rate me  a 7.5%" I am like, umm, how do you put 25% and 0%, meet those numbers in the middle and get 7.5% that's bs!! the number is attachedon a matrix to a dollar amount, and the numbers get dramatically higher, the higher you are rated. it's so arbitrary, it really frustrates me!!
