One day after EDD is "Overdue"?

We all knew that our EDDs were estimates. I think by week 41 I would start to call myself (and certainly FEEL) overdue, but certainly not the day after 40 weeks ...My MW doesn't even do a NST until our 41 week appt.

When are you considering yourself "post term"?

I think I would consider myself OD the day after. Since I knew when I ovulated and such.. But I really won't know until LO is here. You can always tell by their skin and coloring

I consider it "overdue" if you're still pg after your EDD.

I consider it "post-term" if you're still pg after 42wks.

It's all semantics, really.

Oh, I'm considering myself overdue the day after lol.

Any signs of impending labor, Smalls? I have an appt. tomorrow, but I'll probably have no progress...again! I've had no signs of labor AT ALL!

My periods were fairly irregular, so I realize I may have ovulated a week later then the typical EDD calendars put me at. My midwife doesn't like to go past 41 weeks, so I suppose that is when I'll consider myself over due, and I'll try to make a case to wait a few extra days...

Ha wait until you are just that one day past your due date, and then 2, and then 3.... And tell me if you feel like you're "overdue" then...

Regardless of whether it's 1 day past your EDD or 20, it's pretty disheartening to know that you've been pregnant for more than 40 weeks and still don't get to meet your LO.

No labor signs. I thought i was getting some *gag* bloody show last night, but it was just one tiny drop and I didn;t have any other bleeding after that and certainly nothing stringy or *gag* mucousy. I'm pretty comfortable though ... so I'm not in a hurry. I'm sure I'll be feeling fine the day after tomorrow too ....

Can you believe we're finally here? I thought I'd never make it! And I'm sure I'll be feeling just fine on Tuesday as well.

One day after I will consider myself overdue. I am so anxious for baby to come, I don't have enough patience to wait until weeks 41 or 42! Just 2 more days!
