I voted for 2-3 times a night because that's what its been like for a few weeks even though he was STTN for a long time before. However, I don't know that paci & feeding should be combined. We haven't had to feed him in the middle of the night since about 3 months....that would make him be up for a lot longer than H or I going in and replacing the paci.
it makes me feel better that my category (2-3 wakings) is winning.
This is why I asked. I feel sometimes like it's so rare for babies not to STTN by 2 months old b/c that's what these boards seem to portray, but I think it's either just in my head, or people's responses are skewed in that direction (either b/c people lie/exaggerate or b/c they don't reply unless their answer is worth "bragging" about).
We are blessed with a good sleeper... she's been sleeping 12 hours a night with no peep since 3 months. Although now that shes been sick she'll wake up once a night and need to be cuddled back to sleep!
At a party yesterday we learned that a 2.5 year old who was present STTN until he was 1, and ever since that time, has woken 3-5 times every night. And he's not BF'ed and never was. *Awesome*
