Bwahahaha! I have a leg lamp that I put up as well. My mom bought it for me a couple years ago. If it ever breaks... I'll cry and then laugh my butt off.

I think you're all on drugs. I hate A Christmas Story. HATE it. I don't know why. I can't explain it, but I will not watch it. I watched it once and won't again. I MUCH prefer Christmas Vacation, Prancer, Love Actually, Elf and The Family Stone. The first two are my faves.

I'm giving you a pass because you are sleep deprived. The movie rocks!
Well, I must be the oddball with her love of old black & whites.
I love watching It's a Wonderful Life and the original Miracle on 34th Street.
White Christmas (the musical) is another of my faves.
And of course, I pph all the old (not those ugly remakes) Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Roudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, ect. I have all but one on DvD. That is some quality family time spent watching those and putting up decor or warming back up from playing outside in the snow!
The Littlest Donkey & the Drummer Boy are both beautiful stories too. My kids run around the house singing, "Clink clink, clank clank, put your money in the bank. We tell little stories you can't trust. We never ever fail, if we have an idea to sell! We simply take a little every month!" for weeks and I crack up.
I have a tiny thing for Christmas movies. I even own Pooh's Christmas Adventure, lol!
As for A Christmas Story, I could take it or leave it. It just never seemed to be all that great of a movie to me, & I don't get the hype.

SIL keeps it on the marathon every year, and I swear one of these years her television is going to have an "accident" right after we show up
The original Miracle on 34th Street, and just about any version of The Shop Around the Corner (remade into You've Got Mail) are my favorites. I could watch them multiple times each year during the holidays, and often do. I love when TCM plays all the old B&W movies during Christmas.
Contemplating the snow.

basically what Jennigirl said(except the Pooh thing). I could watch the original Miracle on 31st street over and over again. I love White Christmas. Santa Clause is Coming to Town is my favorite of the older cartoon ones.
I enjoy Elf, and A Christmas Story is our tradition but i wouldn't say it's a favorite.
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town by Rankin Bass - love love love. i love all the Rankin Bass cartoons.. frosty..twas the night before christmas is awesome too.. poor dh wants to strangle me because i got a bunch of them on dvd and also every.single.time they play them - esp santa claus is coming to town - i want to watch it over and over.. hahaha.. he can't wait till we have a kid to watch all the kid movies i like with me! :-)
That is wonderfully fantastic! I feel the need to buy it.
I know I haven't been on here in forever but my favorites are Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. I have to watch both for it to officially be Christmas, I blame it on my dad.
White Christmas! I have to watch it at least 3 times between thanksgiving and Christmas, with the last time being on Christmas Eve. I also claim this as my all-time favorite movie.
Re: What is your favorite Holiday movie?
Must be Italian!
I nearly purchased the leg lamp replica from Sky Mall one day...soooo tempting :-)

Overall Fave: It's a Wonderfu Life
For Adults: Love Actually (but unfortunately it's not a family movie, so points detracted for that)
Crowd Pleaser/Funny: Elf
White Christmas! I have to watch it at least 3 times between thanksgiving and Christmas, with the last time being on Christmas Eve. I also claim this as my all-time favorite movie.
I also like Elf.
I have more than one, sorry, I LOVE Christmas movies...
The Santa Claus, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story. I have to watch those 3 movies every.single.year.
2 beautiful children
proud mommy!
This. Although I lean a little bit more towards disliking it. It has it's moments, but overall, I really don't like it.
My faves:
Muppet Christmas Carol
Elf
It's a Wonderful Life
Holiday Inn
the Grinch (both versions)
Babes in Toyland (the one with Drew Barrymore and Keanu Reeves)
I also have the nutcracker on ice (with Oksana Baiul) on DVD, which I love
all of the Santa Clause movies
all the "old school" Christmas movies (rudolph, frosty, etc)
Polar Express
VeggieTales Christmas ones (I even have the Very Veggie Christmas CD!)
Family Man, Just Friends and The Family Stone (kind of Christmas-y)
