Quick update on me & DD.... =(

My DD does in fact have the swine flu (H1N1)..  She is a very very sick girl...  Her fever has been up to 104.5....  We have to watch her very carefully while her fever is high and have to take her back if the fever gets up that high again...

And I told the dr "I think I may be pg again should I worry".. She told me to call my ob immediately and tell them that I had been exposed to swine flu and get on preventative tamiflu..  I called my ob and they did call me tamiflu in.  The problem is my DH is having to drive 45 minutes to find pharmacy that actually has it..  :( 

This really sucks...  They said she will be out of school for at least a week.  And now Im worried about what if Im pg... 

Any prayers would be appreciated.  If it werent disaster at my house I dont know how I would handle it..

    oh no, that's terrible.  DH's cousin's kids had swine flu, the one had it so bad they thought he might die!!!  his fever was 107!  luckily it came down but he was very sick so please take care of yourself and family.  i hope she gets better soon.

    oh lynn, i'm just checking in so i don't know if you've posted anything else... i'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. i hope she feels better soon and i hope the rest of the fam can stay healthy. did you take an hpt or anything to find out if you're knocked up?

    I am so sorry. Poor DD
     I know I have told you this before.. I swear by pedialite popsicles. Get them. When DS is too sick to drink he will always take a pop & within 20 minutes his fever is down.
     
    I hope she recovers quickly & the rest of the brood does not catch it
    As for you... get a mask

    I'm so sorry to hear that she is sick. I hope her fever breaks soon & your house can get "healthy" again. GL testing, & I hope you're able to stay healthy!

    Ugh. So sorry!

    I've heard that gargling salt water and swabbing your nose with warm saltwater-dipped cotton swabs is supposed to help kill anything you've been exposed to. It's only saltwater, so if you are pg it will be fine. 

    Also I heard on the news that people are making themselves sick on vitamins so don't overdo it!

    Nope not yet.  I had a temp dip this morning so I was thinking it was either AF or an implant dip..  I was thiking about testing again tomorrow morning but think I may try to wait til Monday...

    Tamiflu is supposed to be amazing and really start jugging the OJ.  If you are pg again, it is so early, it's unlikely it will affect the baby as long as you keep yourself as hydrated and taken care of as possible.

     I really hope your DD starts to get better soon.
