I don't have any daughters so I'm hoping to be able to skip some of the drama. We'll see.... I'm told that boys are harder when they're little, but girls are harder during the teen years. I'm hoping to get all the hard stuff out of the way now. Fingers crossed.
Does she spend hours on the phone with him each day? And always ask if he can come over? And act like a horrid shrew when you say no? And stomp all over the house like a moody psychopath?

DH proclaimed that DD isn't ever allowed to date after reading all about Gossip Girl.
Is there some reason you don't want the bf over? At least that way you can supervise their activities. Maybe have a "double date" playing board games or something.

This is actually why I don't let him over all the time. I have to babysit them. I can't take the boys for a walk, can't go anywhere, etc. I'm trapped in the house for hours and hours while he's over because I can't leave them alone together.
For the record, I don't think they'd do anything. But it would still be irresponsible of me to leave them unsupervised.

Greeeat. GL, I am not looking forward to those years.
My teenage brother gives my mom grief too. He constantly wants his psychopath gf over, and gets mad at my mom when she refuses to sit at home all day to supervise - and they DO need it. They've been caught in the act on more than one occasion. He's moodier than a girl, seriously.
