3 inches in a month and a half!

Holy Cow!  DD just had her one month appointment yesterday and she grew 3 inches.  That just amazes me and seems like a lot!  How much did your LO grow?

    Exactly the same as you -- we went to the pedi yesterday at 6 wk 2 days and she was 3 inches longer than at birth!

    I think mine was 1.5 inches but I think the way the measure is really innaccurate.

    Haven't had my one month checkup yet, but I agree that the way they measure leaves tons of room for error.

    At birth LO was 21" but at 3 days the ped's office measured 19", then 20 1/8" at 1 month.  I doubt he shrunk so he was obviously measured wrong as he was squirming around right after birth.

    RJ was 20'' at birth and 23.5 at 2 months.

    WOW.  Bailey grew 2 inches in 2 months and I thought that was a lot. As for the measuring wrong.  In the hospital she measured 20.5 and at the doctors 5 days later she was 20 3/4.  I know it's not a big difference but it still makes you wonder.  My pedi. usually enlists me to help hold her while they mark the top of her head and bottom of her feet on the paper.
