I know how much we all love car seat questions...

but help me out!

We have a Britax Marathon in the car now. I need a second convertible seat for my car. Literally, Kate will be in it for all of 1 mile each day when I pick her up from daycare (DH drops her off, and we never drive this car otherwise with her...it's tiny). I don't want to spend a lot of $$ on this one, but I want something good.

Any ideas?

    I hear the Cosco Sencera is good and inexpensive...around $50 at Target. I think we're going to get that for DH's car.

    From what I've read on here, the cosco ones are perfectly safe, especially for your use. You might have to buy a booster sooner, but they're only like $40 or something, so it would probably be worth it!

    I love our Evenflo Triumph Advance!  Our second one in DH's car is a Eddie Bauer seat and DS HATES it.  We don't ever drive DH's car anymore when we're going out together because DS hates that seat so much.

    the evenflo triumph has had great reviews and is extremely highly ranked for safety.  You can get it for around $100.

    We have the Evenflo Triumph and love it.  We actually have 2 of them.  It was a decent price, the middle of the road I'd say.

    We have a Cosco Scenera for our second seat - got it to travel with (it's super light and great to fly with/lug through the airport), and to put in DH's car (DS only goes in there on very rare occasions).  We were recently in California for two weeks and he spent the whole time in that seat, and it was great.  I don't think I'd want it as my everyday seat - it's very bare bones - but it definitely is good for minimal use.
