So Dawson starting STTN at 3 weeks old (I know crazy) but once we hit the 3 month growth spurt that turned into the 4 month wakeful it has been insane!! He is sooo unpredictable no matter how much of a routine we have during the day!
Some nights he STTN but then some nights he is up every 2 hours! I would rather he had the same schedule at night but its soo unpredictable that I am dreading the night because i dont know how much he is going to wake up.
am i alone? anything i can do?
Re: any mommies of unpredictable night sleepers?
That sucks. Aurora has started to wake up several times a night after consistently STTN since she was 7 weeks. Last night we reswaddled her and she slept right through until 6:30 this morning. I didn't want to do it, but we were getting pretty exhausted!
You're not alone!
The same exact thing happened here- he was sleeping 9 hr stretches then we hit 3 mo g.s & 4 mo wakeful and sleeping has never returned, One night he will wake once at 4 am, the next it is 1 & 5, then maybe 11:30, 2, 6- I never have a clue how the night will go,
it stinks

i am soooo glad im not alone! This bites! I want my good sleeping boy back!
boooo hhooooo
the worst is- even on the good nights when he sleeps until 4-5, now I am being woken by my boobs and can't even take advantage of the stretch,
Are you feeding at each waking?

This!!
And this!
After 7 nights of trying to de-swaddle and DS getting up 8+ times a night and him not getting any more used to not being swaddled from night one to night 7 we went back to swaddling Thursday night. He STTN that night, but got up twice last night for his paci. Every night is an adventure for sure!
You are so not alone. This is the exact same thing that happened with DS. he was sleeping great, then I swear he hit 3months and everything changed. One night its a solid 8hours the next he is up every 3hours or less.
I am feeding him everytime he wakes-are you? He does seem hungry and always falls right back to sleep after 5oz.. No matter if we feed an hour before bedtime or at bedtime he still wants to eat! I am hoping at our 4month apt. my pedi can give us some advice!
{forever remembered and missed my sweet babe}
