  • I feel like we are behind, DS just started puffs last week and I gave him a yogurt melt today, but nothing else. I am so confused about the feeding solids

Do you cook them first to soften or give raw?

I cooked the sweet potatoes, apples and pears first.  The others I just cut up into tiny pieces and put on his highchair tray.  If they're too slippery for LO to pick up, you can try coating them in Cheerio dust for more traction.

We're right there with you.  I've tried puffs a few times, but she hasn't yet figured out how to get them from her hand to her mouth.  She gagged on a mum mum today (1st time) and threw up all over the place.  That's it for finger foods.  I'm not in a hurry.

  • Dont feel behind!  We have done nothing except cereal and purees so far.  I do plan to try Mums in a few days though
