I feel like we are behind, DS just started puffs last week and I gave him a yogurt melt today, but nothing else. I am so confused about the feeding solids
I cooked the sweet potatoes, apples and pears first. The others I just cut up into tiny pieces and put on his highchair tray. If they're too slippery for LO to pick up, you can try coating them in Cheerio dust for more traction.

We're right there with you. I've tried puffs a few times, but she hasn't yet figured out how to get them from her hand to her mouth. She gagged on a mum mum today (1st time) and threw up all over the place. That's it for finger foods. I'm not in a hurry.

Re: what finger foods is your 7 month old eating
puffs, sliced bananas, some other gerber finger foods, goldfish
ETA - oops. DS is 9 months.
Do you cook them first to soften or give raw?
