So, three weeks ago my mom went online and got us the travel system off of the registry, but it didn't come off of the list. I asked her if she logged into the registry and she said she did. I ended up manually updating the registry that day. We've already assembled it and everything is great! Then yesterday we received the same travel system from DH's aunt, who says she bought it off of the registry. My shower is next weekend and not much is bought according to the registry when I view it online, but we know that at least 20 people are coming. DId any of you have these sort of issues, and how did you deal with it?

Yep, they suck.
I bought things off my registry after my shower and it never updated. I saw the check out lady scan the registry and the items and it never reflected on the registry.
The question is who hasn't had issues with their registry.
Mine was a freakin' disaster!
Apparently I'm in the minority, b/c we had absolutely no issues with our registry. We got no doubles, almost everything was bought, and when I needed to return some things (including a few that weren't on the registry that I didn't have a receipt for) there was no problem! They also let me combine my 15% of coupon (one item) with my 10% registry completion coupon and we saved a lot b/c we used it for my pump.
On a side note, a lot of people from my shower bought things right before, so maybe a bunch of people just haven't been shopping yet!
