TTC After a Loss

Platinum Baby... would you really?

Would you really buy your baby $250 shoes???

It just blows me away that people do that... I have never bought myself $250 shoes--- let alone a baby that will wear them for what....????.... 2 months?

So many more constructive and responsible things you could do with that sort of money....

Re: Platinum Baby... would you really?

  • No way. I don't even buy myself shoes that cost that much. In fact, if I added up the money I spent on every pair of shoes in my closet, I wouldn't even hit $150!

  • Absolutely not. I myself don't own shoes that cost that much and a baby will hardly wear them for very long. A waste of money IMO.
  • I saw that show on a commercial and knew there was no way I could watch it without throwing something at the tv.  Thanks for sharing!  I feel even better about not watching it.  Of course, I still tend to torture myself by watching A Baby Story.  I never realized how many babies and pregnant women were on TV til my loss.

  • No, I would not but I do have to say that my dd has Ugg boots that were 100 but I truely think that is the max!

Seriously the things you do for your kids are not the things you would even do for yourself. Like I buy her clothes and clothes and more clothes and hardly ever buy myself clothes anymore. SHE is more important to me that I am to myself....seriously!

  • Nope that is ridiculous
At least with a baby you could have them wear them for a month & then return them looking new because they are not going to walk in them

This.  I definitely wouldn't spend that much on a pair of shoes for a little kid.  But, you do buy so much more for your children then you do yourself.

  • i would. if they were on sale for $25.
  • I can see a quick trip into crazy town b/c I'll be so freaking shocked and excited. I'm sure it'll wear off and my kids will end up in Carters like everyone else.

  • i'd be scared to let my child wear shoes that expensive. I wouldn't want her ruining them, they cost too much to wear and ruin.
