NBR ~ Edward Cullen I have missed you so

in 3rd Trimester
I started reading the Twilight series again. I haven't read them since May and it was my addiction from November last year to May. I read all four books probably about 15-20 times. In prep for New Moon coming out in 14 days!!!! I have started reading them again. I really missed Edward, sigh.

    Me too!  I've been reading them again as well.  Breaking Dawn is good all over again.  I hope I get to go see the movie, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to wait for it to come out on DVD.

    I borrowed the books from a friend and read them all in 2 days.  I gave them back because I get addicted to books and knew I would read them again if I could.  My poor DH had to make me take a shower on the second day because I was consumed by them.  I hope the movie is better than the first!

    Have you read the books?  I didn't understand what the fuss was about either.  I went into B&N with a gift card and bought Twilight expecting it not to live up to the hype, and now I am totally obsessed.

     i felt the same way but i got sucked into the series and now can't put it down

    I actually got the team at work hooked too and so we are all taking a half a day on the 20th and going to see the matinee.  I was going to do the midnight showing, but I don't think I can stay up that late anymore.

    I did the same.  I actually stayed up all night reading them.  DH got up for work and was like, are you still reading that!

    That's awesome!  I got my girlfriends at work hooked too.  We all act like 16yo girls everytime one of us brings it up.  They want to go to the midnight showing as well but even if I wasn't going to be induced before then, I don't think I could hack it.  I did manage to pull off the midnight showing of Harry Potter 6 over the summer though.

    I've read the books and thought they were okay, but don't really get the hype.  It was a bit too "teen melodramatic" for me.

    Which showing do you guys think will be less crowded with teeny-boppers...the midnight showing or the first one in the morning? School would still be in session, but I have no doubt some parents will let their kids skip.

    I just finished rereading Twilight (for the 3rd time) and am planning on reading New Moon again over the weekend. I went to the midnight premiere of Twilight last year and it was soooo fun. I already have tix to the 10:30am showing of New Moon on the 20th. Love me some Edward!!!!!!

    I started out being one of those people that thought the whole hype was stupid and thought I would absolutely HATE the books...Once you start reading them, you can't stop and you become infatuated with Edward Cullen. And then you see the New Moon trailer and you become infatuated with Jacob and that sexy body of his. ( Yes, I know he's only 17, but darn does he look GOOD! Big Smile )

    Dih-toe. Yes. I've read the (first two) books. I will plow through the others as well, because it can't possibly get much worse... right? But so far, IMO, they're just bad stories that are poorly written.
