Are Bert and Ernie gay?
What do you think? I guess I've always been naive and thought they were brothers but my sister, DH and a few friends made fun of me for not "realizing" this...?

anyway, i paged you earlier and i was wondering what brand of pg test you use? i took a few of them over the past week (just the dollar store ones) and they've all been neg.. when i was pg with L i got a BFP on a dollar store one and a CBE brand.. what do you use?

Ernie and Bert live together in an apartment in the basement of 123 Sesame Street. Although they sleep in separate beds, they share a bedroom, which has led some to suggest that they are representations of gay lovers. This is denied by Sesame Workshop[6], and some of Bert's interactions with female characters appear to show that he is attracted to women: serenading Connie Stevens in the Some Enchanted Evening segment of a first-season episode of The Muppet Show, and recording a song about his girlfriend, I Want to Hold Your Ear, which was released on several albums. But the idea of Bert and Ernie as a couple is sufficiently widespread that it has been used as the basis of jokes on the shows Saturday Night Live, Family Guy, Supernatural, Friends and American Dad!.

But if they were gay, I would support them and allow them to marry if they wanted to.
Oh, they are DEFINITELY gay. I mean, it's show biz. And Cookie Monster is a compulsive overeater. And what do you think of these muddy cloud puppets? Can't figure them out, gay, straight, no idea, but so cute...
