Sad update from me
Sorry, I haven't posted in a really long time. But for those of you who remember, I was expecting my second child. I went in for a 14-week appointment last week, and they found no heartbeat. The baby made it to 12 weeks 3 days. I had a kidney infection, and we suspect that is what caused the loss, but of course there's no way to really know.
I had to travel to South Africa for a d&c, which went fine, and I'm back at work today. It's hard to adjust to not being pregnant, but we are hoping to start trying again as soon as possible.
I hope everyone else has been doing OK. Welcome to all the new PAL mommies. I really ought to check in here more often.
