WDYT about the possibility of delayed temp rise.

So, there won't be any FWP today. We haven't since Wednesday. But I got positive opks on Wed, thurs, and today. Is it possible that I already O'd, but the temp rise is just delayed. I just have a feeling this might be the case because on my bfp chart, the temp rise showed O on Day 15, but I still got pregnant from sex on CD 12. Also, my CM already peaked this cycle. Come on, tell me what I want to hear!

You can get pregnant from sex up to 5 days prior to O, so I don't think your BFP chart was wrong, you were just lucky. And this might work out for you again even if you O today or tomorrow. GL!

Well, your O could be delayed, but I don't think you'll really know until after you have a clear temp shift.

Check out my chart. It was very wacky this month. I got a +OPK and didn't get a temp shift until 4 days later. I was worried I wouldn't O at all. FF gave me dotted lines, but I agree w/ the O date.

There is hope?

Any chance for more FWP, just in case??

Yeah, I got that you were asking if the temp rise could be late. I guess my response wasn't very clear. I don't think that temp rises are ever late. I think the temp rise is always immediately after O.

Yeah, I got that you were asking if the ovulation could be late. I guess my response wasn't very clear. I don't think that temp rises are ever late. I think the temp rise is always immediately after O.

Thanks, but that won't work. He won't let me do that either if he is not in the mood.

Nevermind anyway, I just had EWCM and checked my cervix and I am definitely still fertile. Thanks anyway.

What I was getting at is that telling him twice in a day that you want to (especially if he knows why you want to) might actually be making him feel pressured or not spontaneous and therefore not in the mood. But if you just jump in spontaneously, he won't have time to decide whether he's in the mood.

In any event, I think you're fine as long as you O soon. It only takes one.

Yeah, I get it. But if I say nothing, we definitely won't do it. I understand what you are saying about pressuring him. But it is so hard. If I don't say anything, we won't get around to it at the right time. If I do say something he feels pressured. It's out of the question today though because he says his stomach is "wonky."
