Our LO guy was very fussy that night and he also got his first Hep B shot the same day. I did tell the pedi before he was allowed to circ him, I wanted him dosed with Tylenol and then for the next 24 hours. That helped tremendously. You could always tell when it was time for more.

The only change I saw in DS was that he hated diaper changes until it healed. Other than that, same happy baby.

My son had a bris a week after he was born. I thought he was a little crankier that day, but totally back to normal the next day. I would do it again and I was really nervous and cried before it happened but next time I won't be worried. It was better/easier than I expected. I had an ob/gyn mohel do it - so he used same procedure as in the hospital.

Baby was the same but I would personally not want to do it again- I Didn't want it done the first time!

Diaper changes were always very unhappy until recently as it finally seems to have healed. Unfortunately, I left the circumcision decision up to DH and in the future I'm sure any other children will also be circumcised.

No issues, it healed fine, and I never even gave the tylenol. They told me he might not eat after the surgery, he ate like a horse. Never fussed during changes, and when the "cap" fell off it was perfect.

I would absolutely do it again. I personally think foreskin is yucky and uncircumcised penises are ugly. JMO

I cried as well before sending DS off but DH tagged along and watched the procedure. Never considered not getting it done and would do it again but without the tears.

NO change at all. In fact, my son stayed asleep the whole procedure...never cried a lick. We used lots of vaseline/A&D during diaper changes for a few days to prevent his penis from sticking to the diaper. It was very low key, the whole experience.

Both of my sons are circumsized and there was no change in their disposition. They were happy before and happy after.

If I had another son, I would do it again.
