What do you think people do with the videos and pictures of their births? Do you sit around at Christmas and watch the "first home movie"? That whole idea really grosses me out!

    no thank you.

    i would love to see a pic though of DH's reaction, etc. but nothing gory, personal or intimate. and NO video.

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    I can't think of any acceptable reason to watch a birth video and therefore no reason to make one.

    You now have a baby at home.  What more of a momento do you need?

    I would not want to watch or see any pictures from my L&D.  I will have a strict no camera policy.  I pass out when I see blood or hear stories about it, so I'm sure I wouldn't want to re-live the experience no matter how special it is supposed to be.

    I threatened everyone with instant death if any pictures or videos were taken during the actually birth.  We do have some very nice pictures of DD and my DH cutting the cord.

    Pictures before and after (the first time you hold your baby photos are wonderful) are fine. During actual pushing, NO WAY!
