We gave DS carrots for the first time last night and he has had two poops this morning that look exactly like what i fed him. disgusting. orange poop is icky.

    I started sweet potatoes today and am curious to see what happens with them. Orange poop is definitely weird! haha.

    it takes a while for their digestive systems to be able to process foods. since they are not fully developed till later.

    your LO is still young so he may just be "going through the motions" with solids right now.

    poor little guy all that effort eating and it is all pooped out.

    I KNOW RIGHT! I really wanted to wait to start solids until 6 months but my pedi really wanted us to start at 4 months since he hadnt gained hardly any weight.. im producing milk like crazy but my little active man just burns so many cals that i cant keep up! haha since we have started solids he has gained 8 oz tho so yay!

    i used to be so sad when i would spend time feeding dd and then in the next diaper... wham.. all the food. and i didn't even start til she as over 6mos. but, eventually their bodies figure it out. at least he is getting some of it.
