TTC After a Loss

And this is why DH and I should not have babies

Excuse me a moment while I put on my flame-resistant PJs.

Our dogs ran out of dog food on Sunday. They ate the last of it Sunday, I mean. We keep forgetting to go get more, and ok, we are lazy and have to go to Costco Friday anyway and don't want to make an extra trip. So last night they had a makeshift dinner of leftover beef, raw eggs and turkey. Tonight we thawed out a pound of elk meat and gave it to them. Biscuit just puked because when she was outside earlier, she ate like 1/4 pound of grass (according to DH). I think she might be hungry.

Yeah, so that is why we should not have babies. Go ahead, flame away; believe it or not, we are actually great dog owners. Just forgetful sometimes :)?

  • nah, I think you would be ok with a kid. Besides, if you BF then the baby would always have food when you are around.

  • Till I get trapped in Costco for years and years trying to buy some freaking dog food.
  • Ah.  Food - it's overrated.
  • Make them dinner? Oh ?no no. The elk meat was thawed and served raw. And cold. They are dogs.

However, in our plus column, we are getting our 1/4 cow from the rancher in a couple weeks, and we requested extra bones, organs, and other parts that most people reject so that our doggers can dine like wild animals.?

I think that maybe the Elk was too rich for her, she was eating grass to soothe her stomach. Maybe tomorrow try a bland diet.

  • Nah, the elk isn't too rich. They've eaten tons of it in their lives. She's a weirdo and eats plants sometimes. She loves acorns and lantana leaves.
  • We've done something similar like.........................four times.
