CA moms-to-be taking unpaid maternity leave?

I just found out that my company doesn't pay for FMLA (12 weeks, I probably won't take all 12 weeks off though). I'm a little bummed but the HR lady mentioned CA's short term disability, i googled it but it doesn't say how much of my salary is covered. Anyone know?? Thanks so much!!

  • I live in California and I've heard from friends, it's 80%. Not sure how accurate that is though.
