So I've been wanting to ask this for a while but I keep forgetting. When you meet a new guy, when do you tell him you have a child? Do you right away, or do you wait until you think the relationship will turn into more than just friends?

I haven't actually gone on a date yet but every guy I do meet that seems to be interested or I'm interested in, I tell them right off the bat. The way I see it, DD is the most important person in my life and I'm not going to waste my time on someone who has an issue with me having a daughter.

I like to put it this way, if you now my name you know I have children. I am a very proud mommy and I tell everyone that I have children. My children are my miracles. Introducing them to others is an entirely different issue though.

I always tell right away. That way you won't get attached to a man who may have a problem with you having kids. It leaves no room for games, and there will be times when you have to cancel or postpone dates b/c of your children and anyone you are dating will need to be on board and understanding. If the guy walks away, it is his loss.
