  i have never heard of cake mania, so my vote goes to zuma's revenge.  although bookworm is really a favorite of mine.

  I love the Granny games where you rescue the kittys.  It isn't one of those build kinda games but so fun!!  One of them is Granny in Paradise.  I think if you do a search on Granny you will find it.
