I love field days!
I just got to hike one of our properties with a forester and species at risk expert (I work for a conservation org) and I got PAID to do it. We saw tons of deer, an elk, a badger dig, etc etc etc... I feel refreshed and remember why I do the job that I do

I don't think I've ever seen a badger in real life before...
My DH would be very jealous of you. I am, in a way, too, but have been a bit of a homebody lately.
