DD is the world shortest napper. She is up for about 90 minutes and then naps for 30. Just wondering if anyone is dealing with this, and also wondering when the 2 longer daily naps come into play?!?
A few of my friends who believe in crying it out told me to just leave her in the crib for a full hour and she will fall back asleep, but I just cant do it!
Me me me!!! DS usually takes 3 naps per day. His morning nap is usually the longest and it sometimes reaches an hour. His afternoon nap is anywhere from 10-30 minutes. The evening nap lasts about 20 minutes. He doesn't seem tired after them though, he is usually wide awake and ready to go!
DD's naps are so random. She will usually take a couple short naps - maybe 15-20mins during the day before I come home from work. And then later in the afternoon she might take a longer nap - can be 30mins or could be 2hrs
Yes, my LO only naps 30 min at a time but since he's been going to daycare (started a week and half ago), his provider says he napped for 2-3 hours which is unheard of for me and DH.
But we rather have a baby that sleeps through the night and takes cat naps than to have a baby who naps all the time but is awake at night.
Yes. He'll sleep for 3 hours in the morning, but in the afternoon I'm lucky if he'll go down for more than 30 minutes. He sleeps through the night though, so I guess I can't really complain.

Re: Anyone elses LO a cat napper?
C generally only takes 30-45 minute naps. Sometimes I luck out and get a longer one out of her. Not sure when or if it will change though.
Me!
