So I had my ultra sound and I am measuring in at 5 weeks. They saw a sac, yolk but no baby (yet) is this normal? I don't go back for another 3 weeks. While I was there, I was thinking it was ok not see the baby because it was early but after a few "Google" searches, I am freaking myself out. Anyone else not see their baby at 5 weeks? I have had 3 HCG draws and all looks good but I don't have much symptoms yet.
Re: Back from appointment
Don't worry, it's normal.
I had an u/s when I was 5w1d and all we could see was a gestational sac and a yolk sac too.
2 weeks later, we're able to see the heartbeat.
?
I say if you're worried call your doctor's office and let them know your concerns so they can address it.
Can you delete the other posts?
First of all DO NOT GOOGLE. In this situation and a lot of other pg related questions you are going to freak yourself out more than anything.
In regards to your question, you are still really early! We had to have an U/S with DD around 5 wks because of spotting. All we were able to see was the gestational sac that's it.
Try not to worry ( I know it's hard)
T&P to you
Thanks, I tried to delete them but the Bump is saying that only the administrator can.
Do not freak out, and just like someone else mentioned do not google! I had an early u/s at 5w6d and all they saw was an empty sac. (The reason I had one early because of previous mc and wanted to rule out ectopic). Any ways, I went back a week later and there was the fetal pole and hb. Just take it a day at a time, I know its not as easy but you really are not gaining anything by worrying yourself.
Sending good vibes your way.
Lucky girl getting an u/s at 5 weeks!!! My first appointment isn't until this Friday. I remember googling anything and everything I could think of right after I got my BFP and I totally freaked myself out. It was wise to stop.
And my only real pregnant symptoms have been extremely sore boobs and nausea from time to time. But everyone is different. If your HCG levels look good than you're doin' good so far.
I went in last tuesday because I was spotting and they did a u/s for me and they told me not to be alarm but we don't see the baby but we do see the sac. Of course I'm freaking out but my Hubby calmed me down and they had me come in every 2nd day for blood work to make sure my levels were doubling. Today they did another u/s and I got to see my baby and the heartbeat flickering. Keep thinking happy thoughts and take care of yourself and the little one.
