Huge nursing bras? Question/Vent

I have had huge boobs since I was 12 but pregnancy has put a whole new spin on things.  I was a 34G/H a pre-pregnancy.

After some poppin-fresh-boob problems, I got sized for a regular bra over the weekend and I'm in a 36K, which is only available at one specialty store in my state.  They do not carry nursing bras, and had no idea where I might be able to find one.  They referred me to a seamstress...with a $100+ price tag.

Where can I find a nursing bra... and how much bigger can they get?!?  I'm gonna fall over, and I can only imagine what will happen when they actually fill up with milk....

(Of course.... DH is thrilled... MEN)

  • Online....I know I'm an H cup and I love bravado bras. Anita is another line. You will be paying a price...most of mine are in the $40-$50 range per bra, but I have 3 and that is plenty.

  • try bossombuddies.com  They have a store in Colorado, maybe you could call them and see if they could specially order your size.  That is what they do for me.  I wear a 32I which is impossible to find.  But I was in the store last week and they said that one of the manufactures would be releasing a bra up to an M cup soon.  So maybe it will be available by the time you have the baby.  A word of advice -- try and get by on a 2 or 3 bras at first when your milk first comes because after you lose weight and your supply is establised you most likely will need a new size.  Good luck.
  • I love the Bravado's as well. I'm a 34F (not quite a G!) and I love their Bras! I have 4 in two different styles and they work great. Plus they have great customer service. I had ordered a bra once and it arrived with a manufacturer's defect. I called them and they told me to keep it and sent me another one. They didn't want me to have to pay to send it back to them!
  • Maybe Nordstrom??  I wore a 34H nursing bra, and loved the Anita brand.  It was around $70 but sooo comfy and supportive.

Anita bras are great, but unfortunately only go up to an H.  Good luck.

  • Just before you're due get fitted for a regular bra and order one nursing bra one cup size up, so you'll have it on hand since you'll need to special order.  I just did a quick search and found this one up to an L cup.  It's not pretty, but that'll be of little importance to you.  I've had good experiences ordering form this store.

  • I had luck with this store:

I'm a 38H now. I called them with my measurements and they recommended a bra.
