    Good question. Back in the day, I remember my mom was partial to toms. But I think it was only because of their size.

    I feel really dumb for this but I didn't know the difference. I'm assuming the size of the bird would be one difference.

    I mostly care that it's organic, hormone free, free range. But beyond that I guess I have a slight preference for Turkey Tom.

    We always use a Tom, but I have no clue why.  It's what my dad uses (he's a chef) so I figure he knows best!
