What did you put them in? I bought a car seat bag but am wondering if it is worth the money. My dh says that they have bags there for you to use but not sure if they will protect them enough.
I don't think they provide bags anymore from what people have posted. If they are charging people to take luggage, why would they provide the plastic bags for strollers? KWIM? I wouldn't rely on them actually knowing where the bags are IF they have them anyway. You would also have to wait in line to get them.
We have two bags for gatecheck stuff. Just to protect them from getting dirty and if it's raining when they take them to/from the plane. For $30 total, I'm glad we have the bags.
I've checked a car seat at the desk in a travel bag (would worry about the seat cover getting really dirty or torn without a bag) and have gate-checked a stroller with no cover, but I did use a bungee cord to keep it folded to minimize the risk of breakage.

If you gate check, it should be fine. It is handled by hand. You could just put it in a large laundry bag to keep the fabric clean, but honestly, I think the handlers do a better job when they have easy access to the handle. I had no dirt or harm to my strollers or carseats the 3 or 4 times I have flown with them.

That's great, that is who we are flying with.
Thanks so much!
