infant seat!!!

I bought the Evenflo LX infant seat and it's a piece of junk. I've contacted Evenflo to get a refund and hopefully get it shipped back to them. I can't adjust the straps to tighten or loosen without wrestling with the darn thing and you can forget about it fitting in my MINIVAN. The handle won't go down, which is a safety hazard.

So now I'm left wondering what I should get?! I was thinking about a Graco Snugride (I love purple so I'm loving the "Jewel" fabric). What are you using? Do you love it and why?! 

 

P.S. I really need it to fit in my minivan behind a seat (no bench seating so it would be behind the driver or passenger seat).

    I have the Chicco Keyfit 30.  It is super easy to use and adjust and it is nicely padded too.

    I love my chicco keyfit 30, it fits behind our seats, the handle goes down and it's adjustable.

    We love our Chicco Keyfit 30. May want to check to ensure it fits behind your seat though. It is on the larger side.

    We have the Evenflo Aura, and it's definitely not as nice as some of the ones out there, but it was half the price! 

    I like it fine though.

    We have a graco snugride in elyse, and aslo purchased the graco myride 65 (haven't used yet) when it went on sale a few weeks ago.

    We have the Graco snugride and its pretty good. Its sort of on the heavy side, but thats OK - she's a bit of a porker so it could just be her thats heavy  :)

    Anyway - I heard bad things about anything that has like a zig-zag handle, so I'd stay away from those. The Snugride fits into the back seat of my very small Saturn Ion OK - we had to move the seats up a little, but we're still comfortable.
