After being a mom for 4 months, I finally realize my bag isn't quite working for me. I have a Bumble Bag... backpack. I love the pattern and that it has so many pockets, but since it's on my back it's very difficult to get into while holding LO.

I want a messenger style bag. Not one that hangs close to the arm-pits, but one that crosses and hangs by your hip. If you have one of there, could you linky for me? TIA!

I have a Kalencom bag like this (different pattern). My only recommendation is if you want to be able to get into while holding your LO don't get one that closes with velcro - snaps or a magnetic snap closure are always easier to get open. GL!

I have a Petunia Picklebottom boxy backpack (can be worn as a backpack or as a messenger bag). It's all black, so DH actually doesn't mind carrying it. It's roomy, cleans easily, and I really like it.
