My fertility Dr. will release me to the OB of my choice after my 6 wk u/s. Any recommendations? My GYN is Dr. Robert at Grapevine, but I have had some issues with her (although I love her staff). Anyone else at Baylor G'vine??
Thanks ladies!!

sure. I want to start by saying I LOVE LOVE her NP Cathy. She always did my yearly and she's amazing. Dr. Robert is nice, she loves babies and pregnant women, but was not so great, understanding, supportive or caring to me while we were struggling with infertility. I was diagnosed with PCOS in her office, was given an initial dx of "normal" where they called back and said "oops, you ARE messed up!" I wasn't super happy about that, but it was human error.
At followup appointments, she was always rushed and never hesitated to throw meds at me. She said, "Here's some Clomid, you have .02% chance of it working. Have fun." There wasn't ever really an "incident," i just feel like she doesn't want to deal with women who aren't pregnant or who are overweight (I'm what you'd call a little fluffy). It also bothers me that she markets Restalyne and other cosmetic procedures. She just has a lot of irons in a lot of fires! Again, she's probably great with the pregnancies and deliveries, those were just my personal experiences. Great staff though.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I know everyone has a different experience, but I always like to hear everyone's side of the story so I can rule something out as an isolated incident or as business as usual. I haven't had any red flags yet, but I like to be on the look out. It's hard to find a good doctor of any specialty, but with an OB I feel like I should be more critical.
My sister very recently left Dr. Robert's office for the same reasons listed above. We both used Cathy instead of Dr. Robert and now that Cathy is gone, I don't know *who* I will use.
My sister switched to Dr. Wai and LOVES him. She had trouble getting pregnant with my nephew - he was a fluke, she's lucky - and is having trouble getting pregnant again. Dr. Wai takes her seriously and my sister felt that Dr. Robert did not - and Dr. Wai takes his time with her, which she appreciates. She doesn't feel like she's being blown off anymore, which I'm sure was a horrible feeling.
I LOVE Dr Neal too.
BTW- I hate to say this but I heard the same type of complaint from a friend before who also went to Dr Roberts. She just felt so uncared for when she was struggling getting pregnant. But heard and experienced nothing but good about Dr Neal.

Another Dr. Wai fan! LOVE him! He is seriously the nicest guy in the world and an excellent doctor. He was so sweet and understanding throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him.
I see Dr Kindrick at Women's Integrated Health
