Anyone watch cake boss?

I like the show but the last few episodes it seems to me that they are creating fake drama for the purpose of making the show entertaining. 

Like the situation with Buddy's assistant (which I don't even see this week)  and the sisters telling him to do work for them instead of getting buddy's lunch.

This week the situation with the painters and the kitchen.

It's like you could see everyone trying to hide a smile when the drama goes down.

    I've watched a little bit of it a few times and I think you're right. The show is very annoying.

    Yeah. Annoying - that's a good word for it. I mean I like the cakes that they make - that part is good but the drama and personalities surrounding the show annoy me.

    Having said that, I'm going there to look at a simple cake for DS' finalization party simply because they get a great rating for bakeries in the area.

    First season was much better.  I agree, this season is annoying.

    It's clearly made up, but it is mindless entertainment.  Their cakes are delicious so I watch, drool and think about the next time I'll be able to get a cake from there :)

    Totally made up...I've worked with Buddy a few times and he is totally different in person than on the show.  The show is like an exaggerated version of himself.  His mom really is that loud and funny though...LOL!  That place is a mob scene now bc of the show...and to get a specialty cake from him is hard now...his waiting list for brides is REALLY LONG.

    I thought the same thing! Like the episode where they dropped the cake down the steps and they had a new one made in like an hr! Or the one where they left all the canolli cream out.  Buddy tries too hard to act like it is for real.

    I watch this in the middle of the night when I'm feeding Ben.  I just like seeing the cakes they make.
