I hope this doesn't post repeatedly--I think the original one I typed got eaten.
I thought I was coming in for a precautionary steroid shot yesterday and then coming back today for the second shot and our routine weekly fluid check. For some reason they decided to do the ultrasound yesterday, and our littlest baby's fluid had dropped and her doppler flows showed she is starting to struggle again. It could be the TTTS coming back, IUGR, or a combination. My doctor said, "It is not yet critical enough to deliver you, but it's critical enough to get you admitted for the duration for bedrest and to be constantly monitored."
We truly hope the babies will stay inside as long as they possibly can, as they both need much more time to mature--particularly our littlest one. I dread the thought of spending months in the hospital, especially during the holidays which I love, but we are hopeful that will be the case and our babies will have more time to grow. For now, we are trying to take it day by day as every day will help!!!

oh no, i'm so sorry to hear that! i hope your little girls stay snuggled in there for a good long time. i'm glad to see you're at least past 24 weeks now, though.
