always wanted 3... then had a really rough time with my first pregnancy so I told DH i could only do it once more... and got a two for one deal! Oddly enough, my twin pg was so easy compared to the singleton pg... now I wouldn't mind being pg again like that- but we can't afford more kids, nor do we have room for anymore in our house

Both my husband and I always wanted a bigger family. I always thought 3. But since we got a "2-for-1" deal, we're no longer sure. 3 for sure, maybe 4. If #3 is a girl, there's probably a better chance that we'd be done after that, but who knows?

Hubby and I both think it's very possible we'll be done with 4 after the twins arrive. However, we're not doing anything drastic like vasectomy or tubal ligation because neither of us are sure : ) He already says he'll miss me being pregnant if I never am again. Plus we're both pretty young (I'm 27 and he's 25), so who knows how we'll feel a few years down the road...

I originally wanted 5, DH wanted 2. We got our 2, boy and girl, and were ready to call it quits, but I just couldn't commit. So We tried for #3 (DH secretly assumed we'd go for #4, to have an even #.) When we got #3, #4 came along too! We're done. DH is scared sh!tless that if we tried for #5, we'd get #6 and #7 at the same time. So, he had the big V last week. I'll also be getting the Essure in the next few weeks. That said....we're recently connected with one of my distant cousins that has done domestic 3 times (she has 3 under 3) and we're quite intrigued. So, we may end up adopting down the road.....but that's the only way we'll grow our family in the future.

Now, that I am pregnant, I know for sure the twins will be our only 2. It is a perfect number for us and our family will be complete.

Us too, although you could have asked me as recently as 2 months ago and I'd have said the same thing.

DH has always wanted 3, I wanted 2. I only wanted to be pg twice. Looks like we both win.

I've always wanted 4 kids just for the simple fact that I came from a big family (5) and dh wanted 3 but now i agree with dh. 1 more would be practical. dh and i are both young (me 23 and he 24), so in the next few years we'll try again.

We always said 2 kids but I honestly think I will want to be pregnant one more time, after the twins come. Im not sure Id go through any IF treatments again but if we were to get pregnant on our own, I wouldnt have a problem with it.

I always said three but sometimes the only thing that gets me through the night is the hope that I'll never have this kind of sleep deprivation again.

We always talked about having 3. We got pg on the first try but sadly lost it. Got pg with our son and planned on waiting til he was 1 to try again but we were surprised with twins. My h was very scared to try again (he thought we got ripped off in the pg department) and have 4 and 5, so I got a tubal.

I always said 3 and DH always said 2. Now that we are having twins, I guess we got 2 for one. I am delighted to be having identical girls, but DH admits that he would like to have a boy. So, who knows, maybe we'll try for one more. Dh is scared that we'd get twins again but the peri says not likely since they are identical. We'll see if we go for one more and what we'll get! Even as I get more and more uncomfortable in this pregnancy, it seems to strange to me that this may be the only time I am ever pregnant and I have a feeling that i will want to try again in a year or two.
