Anyone else find it weird that Alanis Morissette sang the National Anthem at last nights World Series? She is Canadian, singing our National Anthem, for America's favorite pastime world series game. The Montreal Expos don't even exist anymore so there aren't any Canadian teams. I'm not trying to start a "she could be an American citizen" debate, I just found it odd.

I honestly didn't think twice about it... I personally LOVE Celine Dion singing "God Bless America" and she's Canadian too. I don't know why the border lines always get blurred for me with celebs. ::shrug::

Having lived in Canada and having sung the national anthem at the Sky Dome for for the US and Canada (as an American) it isn't weird for them...
