I've been meaning to ask you this, but I kept forgetting. Did you dehydrate your placenta and eat it? I wasn't sure if that was a joke back in the day but I remembered it and I just have to know. I am totally not flaming either.

=( No. I had to have a hospital birth instead of a birthing home birth because I was 41w6d, and never went into labor. That in and of itself would usually mean no placenta, but there was still a bit of hope that the doc would "leave it" in the room "accidentally." But after being induced, and pushing for a couple of hours, DD was under a lot of stress and tried to turn around, which caused her head to swell, which meant emergency c/s. So, the doc couldn't have "left it accidentally" for me even if he wanted to.
Perhaps with the next child I'll be able to save it, dehydrate it, and put it into capsules as I'd planned!
I took an informal poll of friends who have kids. Almost universally everyone admitted to drinking more frequently than before kids. More frequency, but less quantity.
I love wine too. Might get me a glass right now!
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am
