Depressed... ornaments are missing

I know it's early but I like to put up the Christmas tree after Halloween  but when I was pulling everything out I noticed that the Christmas ornaments were gone and now I've been searching all over the place. I'm worried that we may have accidentally thrown them out. It's making me feel very sad because we had a lot of memorable ornaments that I can't replace. I'm so hoping that I can find them but the search is going to have to wait till DD is in bed again. Sad

    We put ours up on Halloween night. It's a tradition and we LOVE it! Sorry your ornaments are missing.

    we too have an artificial tree...we put it up the day after thanksgiving!! halloween though! ;-) that's too much tree time for me! though we just bought a new tree last week...and i can't wait to see it up!

    Sorry your stuff is missing, I hope you find it!!

    I can't bring myself to do Christmas stuff after Halloween.  I even get aggrevated seeing candy canes & Christmas decorations out with the Halloween stuff!  We start decorating after Thanksgiving (I don't want Christmas to take away from Thanksgiving).  We have the Festival of Trees (by Kennedy Krieger) during Thanksgiving weekend & that really gets me in the spirit to decorate ^_^

    I'm thinking that they've got to be around but in a weird place. LOL, I love Christmas so much but I was thinking about decorating the tree more for Thanksgiving first. I definitely don't like seeing Christmas before Halloween or in July but I do try and buy presents as early as possible to avoid crowds. .
