Baby is breech

Hi all!  I had my 36-week doctor appointment today and found out the kiddo is breech.  If he doesn't turn on his own by next week's appointment, we have to go in for the version...  It doesn't sound pleasant.  Anyone here ever experienced it or know someone who did?

    I had a c/s because my baby was breech and a few other reasons.  My friend also had a breech baby and she said that her version was worse than her unmedicated labor.  (not trying to scare you, just being honest)  I wish you luck, but I would suggest checking out statistics of it if you haven't.  Congrats, you'll be a mommy soon!

    Have you thought about trying acupunture?  I have heard really good things about using it to turn a breech baby.

    Thanks!  Yes I want to try acupuncture but unfortunately I can't get an appointment before the version on Thursday morning.  If he doesn't turn then, I'll give it a shot!!
