So I am like 4 weeks and 6 days pg and both Sunday and Monday Ive started to have to serious symptoms. Ive been soo dizzy, even when I lay down. Im nauseated. Im sleeping like 12 hrs a day at least. Also Ive been having really bad diarrhea (tmi, sorry). I read that, like constipation, diarrhea can be caused by the rising hormones. Anyone else have diarrhea in your first tri? Also if you are pg with twins, did your symptoms start early? I thought I really shouldnt be feeling anything until at least 6 weeks or so. Thanks

Re: X/P - ? regarding early symptoms and twins.
Congrats!!!
I did not have symptoms that early with this twin pregnancy. I did, however, have them with a previous singleton pg. There's no way to know if there are multiples based on symptoms or betas. I know its hard not knowing and wondering, just try to hang in there! GL!!
I didn't have any early symptoms, they didn't hit until 6-7 weeks, just remember that everyone is different. This question was asked last week, it should answer your questions:

the only times i get dizzy are when i am not drinking enough fluids. my OB keeps reminding me that my blood volume has increased by as much as 60% with twins, so it's very important to drink a lot of water!
and i had diarrhea all throughout my first tri. i thought something was wrong b/c i'd always heard about people being constipated when PG. now i AM constipated and i think i liked it the other way better.
i never had very strong symptoms except for tender bbs, and that stopped at around 8 weeks. GL!
I had your same exact symptoms plus horrendous nausea around that time. And I just had this nagging feeling something was different this time around, and boy was I right!
All of this together still doesn't mean anything of course, only the U/S will show you for sure.
Congrats and good luck!
HI - i remember you from the TTTC board! congrats!!!
I realy just wanted to say congrats - I had absolutely no symptoms with my twin pregnancy - not even mild ones. aside from fatigue and only at night, I had no other indication that there were two in there. Does your RE do early sonos? I had one at 5 weeks and one at 7 weeks - the 5 week apt we were able to see one sac with a possible second, the 7 week showed 2 distinct saks and h/bs
