how many vials?

At your first appt. how many vials of blood are drawn? I'm not too good when they draw my blood. The first time I had my rubella screen and they took one vial and I almost passed out. The second time (after TTTC) they took two to check thyroid, insulin, etc. and I did okay. At our first prenatal appt how many do you think I'll have to give? I'm nervous!

I had bloodwork done a month ago and I think she took 3. Today I had my '1st appt' bloodwork and I think it was 4-6 vials. I hate shots...I mean HATE, but have had to just put on the big girl panties and get over it.(I have had a lot of b/w in the last few months) And I have my 3 yr old sitting on my lap...can't really squirm too much! Good Luck...remember to breath and drink your fluids!

They took six from me also at my first visit. No fun, but just turn your head away and it will go by fast!

they took 8 from me. It doesnt hurt, make conversation and look away if youre squimish, but you wouldnt notice if you didnt look

Mine took seven--I was really surprised that it was so many. H went with me, and it was good to have him there to talk to me. I have really easy veins, so it's never much trouble and doesn't take very long, but if I look at it or think about what's going on, I get squeemish.
