I like it, but to me it will always be a last name. Timothy I'm not a fan of. If it were me, I'd do Anderson James.

We love the name Andrew but it's already been used in the family, so Anderson is the closest thing we could think of and Timothy is DH's Dad's, Brother's, Nephew's and my Grandpa's Name, so that will def. be the MN, it has strong family connections!

This. Anderson is a great name, and I have no problem with surnames as last names. But just picking a random surname doesn't make much sense to me if it's not in your family tree. Just my opinion.

I like it, unless your last name is also three syllables and then it might be too much with the 3 syllable middle name too.
Agree that you need to balance the syllables -- I'd go with a shorter middle name. Anderson is OK -- reminds me of Anderson Cooper.
