Preemies

Introduction

Hello. I wanted to introduce myself. My DD was born on Oct 23rd at 28 weeks via emergency c-section due to severe PIH. She was 2 lbs 1.8 oz, 14.5 inches. She's doing great though, already gaining weight, off the bili lights, and will hopefully be off CPAP completely soon. I am still dealing with residual BP issues, after being in the hospital for a week following delivery and hoping to find some support here.

Re: Introduction

  • Hi Autumn! I'm glad to hear your DD is doing well. I'm pretty sure I saw you getting off the elevators at Abington this evening. Our DD was in the NICU for 2 weeks and just got discharged today. The nurses are amazing there. Your LO is in good hands :-)

  • Hey Tam! I was just about to PM you. Glad to hear about your DD. I've been looking for you every time I stop by...I think I found her spot, but even better that she now gets to go home. :-) We're on the other side, because A is so little. The nurses *are* fabulous. How is the new home btw? Everything must be falling into place, I am so happy for you. I am PMing you with A's website in case you want to see pics. I can't help being a bit of an AW, she's my first. Embarrassed

  • The new home is great. It was a mess moving, but we are in and just need to start unpacking.

We started out on that side too. I'm sure your LO will be growing and moving up in no time! And don't worry about Being AW! I'm the biggest one of all and this is my 3rd! It's your first baby girl! You have every right to show her off! ;-)

I'm nesting from my phone so I don't know if I can get to my PMs here, but feel free to email me at anytime !! Mrstrod at gmail dot com
